From Cairo to the solar eclipse in Bahareya Oasis (SEKEM Tours)

This 10-day Egypt trip combines culture, adventure, and a rare solar eclipse. Explore Cairo’s landmarks, including the Citadel, Giza Plateau, and Grand Egyptian Museum, followed by desert adventures at Bahareya Oasis, White Desert, and Black Desert. Highlights include visits to Alexander the Great’s Temple, the Golden Mummies, and the longest solar eclipse of the century. Return to Cairo or extend to Luxor, Aswan, or the Red Sea.

Cairo & Luxor with solar eclipse

The trip starts in Cairo with visits to the Giza Plateau, Sphinx, Grand Egyptian Museum, and optional Khan el Khalili Bazaar. On day three, explore the National Museum, Citadel, and Mohammed Ali Mosque before flying to Luxor. Days four and six offer optional sightseeing in Luxor. On day five, experience the longest solar eclipse of the century. Day seven includes visits to Memnon Colossi, Hatshepsut Temple, Valley of the Kings, and Karnak Temple. The trip ends on day eight with a transfer to Luxor airport or an optional extension.

Aswan & Luxor with solar eclipse

The trip starts with arrival in Aswan, followed by a Nile cruise and Philae Temple visit on the second day. The third day includes a day trip to Abu Simbel. On the fourth day, visit the Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna temples before heading to Luxor. The fifth day features the solar eclipse, either from the hotel or Gabr Island. The sixth day offers optional sightseeing in Luxor. The seventh day includes visits to the Memnon Colossi, Hatshepsut Temple, Valley of the Kings, and Karnak Temple. The trip ends on the eighth day with a return journey or an extension to the Red Sea.
