Natchitoches, Louisiana, is known as the “City of Lights” for its stunning Christmas light displays. Each year, the city transforms into a winter wonderland, with over 300,000 lights and 100 set pieces illuminating the historic downtown area. It is also home to Java Travel.
The Natchitoches Christmas Festival is one of the oldest and most popular holiday celebrations in the country. The festival runs from the Saturday before Thanksgiving through January 6th, and features a variety of events and activities for all ages. Check out the schedule on their website.



Visitors can enjoy the Festival of Lights Parade, which features floats decorated with thousands of lights, marching bands, and other festive performers. The parade takes place on the first Saturday in December, and is a must-see for anyone visiting Natchitoches during the holidays.
